Wabbit World
Wabbit World is located in Bolivar, Pa. We are a member of the American Rabbit
Breeders Association(ARBA). We breed Holland Lops. They are truly a remarkable breed. They are known as the Hallmark Breed.
They are the smallest of the lops. They will weigh up to 4 pounds for showing. Personalities of Hollands can vary. They are
curious and active, in general. They respond well to loving treatment and make the ideal pet. Our are raised with the kids.
The kids play with them and help feed and water them.
Adrian DeCock, of the Netherlands started developing the Holland Lop in 1949. He bred
Netherland Dwarfs to French Lops in an attempt to produce a miniature French Lops but instead ended up with what is know today
as the Holland lop. The Hollands were then brought to the United States in 1975 by
Aleck Brooks III who is the founder of the Holland Lop Rabbit Specialty Club.
